Thanks, and I will keep you posted. There's been a fair amount of interest in the car, and I've talked with a couple people about outright sales. I think that's my best option at the moment, but certainly appreciate the interest.

Despite the weather, Spring seems like its not too far, and it has me thinking about driving around instead of buying parts. I'm very interested in a C-10, Impala, or air-cooled Porsche of all things. If anyone is looking for a good project, I'm open to trades up or down for the right car.

Is the VIN back on the car? When I looked at it 4 years ago, it had been removed. Not trying to queer the deal here but that is a huge issue with this car and you may not be aware of that. Is the paint blistering on the front fender/header panel? Looks like in the pictures there is some issue there but could just be the angle. Good luck with sale, yes many that have been around know about the car and it's history.

It was stored wrong with plastic over it in the heat.. sorta jacked the paint.

When it was first shot (man, like 6+ years ago) the paint was flawless..we shot it for the cover of Camaro Performers... the welding on the cage and the fabrication on the three-link system is top notch.. and the body work is perfect.. I think it's a good deal considering the bodywork and fab stuff done, but for anyone slighly picky it would need a strip and repaint.. but it's totally rust and bodywork free.

I appreciate your input on the car, and the history of the paint. I agree even with the few areas that are flawed, the car still looks very good. Seeing it in person, I don't think most people would opt to spend the extra money to make it perfect.

I actually have a copy of the magazine cover you mentioned. My 4 year old spilled water on it, so it doesn't look nearly as good as the car...
