      GM 502/502 feedback

My build is below, I have been leaning twds a LS3/427 but every once in a while I think big block. I am a few months away but getting close to making a decision. I would like to hear any feed back from those that have the GM 502/502 from performance, reliability or ask you did you make the right choice. Many thanks Kevin

I have one in a car, I'm not overly impressed compared to my LS to be honest.
Mine has used oil since day 1 and the valvetrain is pretty noisey.
If I had a choice I would pick the LS everytime, lighter, more powerful, and better mpg.

I had a 502 short block to which I added Canfield heads and a Lunati cam. The engine had EFI and made 500rwhp. I yanked it in favor of my L92 and I haven't regretted that decision for a nano second.

I had one in my 65 chevelle and loved it. As a matter of fact i'm looking for one now to put in my 78 Z28.
I also had a LS in another 65 Chevelle a few years later but i just see to many LS motors in every car now.
