      Gas in vacuum advance..

      Hey guys,

This is a new one on me....I was checking my distributor today went pull the hose to vacuum advance...gas started dripping out!....lucky don't seem to effect the advance to bad yet or cause the motor to not run right....I been doing some research on chevelle forum and they had a problem like this before...especially if you have tall intake with your vacuum advance below the carb...not having a "high point" which allows gas to trickle back down in the canister....any advice is appreciated!

maybe putting a 'service loop' in the vacuum line will help keep the gas out, sort of like a p trap
