Dave- ya it actually went pretty smoothly. Brad took Brant's to Atlanta, he & I drove our camaros. Our Buddy Chris met us in Atlanta with my trailer and only got there 15 min before us. We switched trailers, got something to eat, then headed home. You get that brake deal situated? I cant believe it blew out that quick...

That did work out pretty darn good. But would of been better as you know.... if Brant could have drove his as planned. Hope he get's his mess fixed.
As far as mine goes. Well I just ended up rebuilding the backs on my own. Went out on some of our good ol' country roads and beat the hell out of it. Everything seems to be fine. But the true test will be in a few weeks at Goodguys in Charlotte. I did wipe out a spindle a week ago. A car came at me and had to turn fast, well I turned into a @#$%!&*@!!! pot hole. Parts will be in by Tues. The life of a Daily Driver. I've had more things mess up on the car in the last few weeks, than in the last 6 years. But we should be good again.
You guys be good. And tell Brant to stay motivated. He'll get his done, and it will be worth it. Ummm other than have to spend some extra bucks.

FYI, I'm pretty sure the 67 Cobra in 4th place was on race tires.
What a great event! Lots of runs, and the shootouts were a riot.

He was on Saturday, I think he thought he was going to pull a fast one with the tire change.

Tim - it was great to meet you! Thanks for the ride on Sunday! What a weekend - can't believe my car ended up 18th (with Brian Clark driving)! It definitely gives me something to aspire to!

LOL, I noticed when his times dropped like 5-6 seconds from Friday..kinda hard to slip under radar with that much change
