      Camaro 67 - 4 piston vs. C6 or Z06 corvette calipers?

I have a question, my 67 Camaro has the original (4piston) calipers, but I do not trust them. I want to ask to exchange them for C6 (2piston) or is it better Z06 (6piston)??? Or even better option Wilwood, Bear etc.?

      Thank you

Just keep in mind the Z06 calipers will limit your wheel selection or you will need to use spacers because of thier size.

z06 would be best for performance but yes you need at least 18 inch front with big offset and similar to corvette.

(I think willwood or baer sell the same caliper, except for a markup).

It will be the best price/performance to get the z06

Baer 6s vs Z06 setup. 3000$ vs 800$.... take your pick(baer rotors are lighter but calipers are heavier)

      actually... Baer 6s = 97 feet, stock z06 = 104 feet and zr1 = 93 feet...

if you put some tweaks on the z06 brakes, same rotors, hawk pads, youll probably get the 97 feet.

Wilwood now has a direct C3 replacement caliper that is similar to the Vette/67 Chevelle/GTO front calipers. Not sure how close mounting points are.

Stainless Steel Brakes first started rebuilding those 4 piston caliper with SS pistons and sleeves to make them more dependable.
