Old Town in Kissimmee - every Friday night is 73 & newer domestics, Saturday night is 72 & earlier...

I went last month on a Saturday night and there were close to 500 cars - it was nuts.

Lots of factory restos & general hot rods, rarely see anything I'd consider pro-touring - but I'm not there very often so I may have just missed them...

There are a few show around that are on monthly schedules. We definitely should try to get a group together and work the circuit! Not that I am anywhere NEAR being ready to do that.. lol I have to finish my current bike build before I even get anything substantial done on this thing.

Good to know local people, even if just to see if they need unused parts or to help out in a pinch...

Count me in if you decided to get together sometime. There is also a very casual get together of various hot rods and muscle cars on 436 near Rachel's - I think it is Saturday evenings.

The Scrambler is a blast. I just finished an LQ4 and 4L60e swap. I'll have to update my Cardomain page.

We went out to the weekly Orlando Jeep Club meetup tonight - really nice guy there (Trevor) built 3 jeeps with his sons, was a perfect guy to meet & talk to my son. I'd love to see that LQ4 swap - sounds awesome!

Make it a driving event like an autocross, and I'd probably drag my butt up there (from Sarasota) for a meet.

I think the power tour sounds Awsome BMR. I'll drive up that way anytime, once I get these little things sorted out I have going on. Not that we all don't have those here and there. My ride needs a lot of pro-touring love as well

I also would love to check out those local meetups. where do you guys find the info for them? A website? Or just word of mouth?

i went to the old town saturday night cruise. over 200 cars showed up. mostly fully restored or hot rods style cars. lots of beautiful cars there tonight. closes thing to a pro touring car was a 68 camaro with a copper paint job, shaved dripped rails, flush glass, lowered, with 17s. although i spoke with the owner (very very nice guy) i did not get to ask what type of suspension he had in as my stomach was so hungry it was eating itself.

i definitely plan on going again, especially when my car finally gets here. if anyone would like to meet up there or even prior to a friday or saturday cruise let me know.

here is a link to Old Town's website for more info:

Anybody interested in meeting up at the NSRA Southeast Nationals next weekend (Oct. 12-14) at Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa? I went last year and there were alot of musclecars but only a few Pro-Touring, Streetfighter rides. This could be a cool event for us to get together for the 1st time.

Journey is playing Friday night at the Fairgrounds Amphitheater, and the Hard Rock Casino is about 1/2 mile from the event. There is a Ker's Winghouse across the srtreet from the fairgrounds which is a good place to grab some food and drinks and they are having UFC153 Saturday night.

I just moved to the Tampa area a couple months ago, and then took an extended vacation to Afghanistan. I'm not sure if these were posted yet but I'm looking forward to going home in a couple months and wrenching on my projects again.

The Orlando Cars and Cafe event is the last Saturday of every month at Mech Tech Institute from 9am to 12pm.
