Thats pretty cool!!
that's one way to get shot
That wasn't quite what I expected at all.
What kind of "muscle cars" are they?
Fine disrespect for private property.
Andrew
Wow!!
LAME! He just "found" them, with a camera man along?
I call BS!:spank2:
What I cant believe is you guys actually think this guys car broke down and he stumbled upon them. Come on, its staged. Cool vid
The second half of the video, even though its fake... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hEaPs...eature=related
I'm pretty sure we all know it was staged, especially when the guy peeking through the gap between the doors while the cameraman films from the inside or when the dude steps out of his "broke down" car, walks for a minute and all of a sudden he's dying of thirst and yet after he's inside he forgets all about it,lmao!
The part about the Ford breaking down looks real... :P
Basically what passed for musclecars here in Australia, based on locally made vehicles usually built around parent company (US) drivelines. The cars were mostly built and specced to run in the production touring car class that was very popular at the time.....these were some fast cars, even though some of them are multicarb six cylinder powered.....the E49 Charger he refers to was a 14.4 second 1/4 mile car stock....faster than the 71 XY GT351 which ran 14.8 over the quarter. The factory gearing was slanted towards top speed.....the Falcon GTHO 351 in 1971 was the fastest 4 door production car in the world. It had a 140mph speedo and would wind off the end of it without a problem.
Most of those cars have a 6 figure value.....some with very high 6 figures. Build numbers were very low.
ugly bunch of cars. show me some aar cuda's, yenko camaros and gt 500s then i'll be interested :smoke:
I was waiting for Mel Gibson to jump out and beat the guy with his Yiddish war hammer.
But that guy is crazy, I'd never break into a pick-your-part...they have dogs.
Thanks, now I know where to go if I'm looking for a four door muscle car.:)
It was interesting to see the old Holden Monaros'. The '04+ GTO was made from the current ones. It made me sad to see the Top Gear when they were playing with the Vauxhaull hotrods (the British version of Holden). They had a supercharged VXR8 (the G8 that should have been) and the Maloo, a LS3, 6 speed El Camino. Too bad GM never pulled their heads out and brought them over instead of dropping uber millions developing the SSR. What's worse, I guess they were still thinking of bringing it over until Pontiac went under.

I love the Australian muscle -cars . They rule !
I also love the barn find stories. They are the stuff that urban legends are made of ! LOL !
If your acting skills are on par with an adult film at least show some neekid womens.
A barn find of Australian women would have been more believable than this video.
