DriverzInc: 1970 Nova build under way!
Hi Everyone,
I've been delaying posting our new project car for lack of a name, but its long over due, and we'll just have to come up with a name for it as we go along. All suggestions are appreciated.
I personally bought this car from my good friends Travis and Jaime, who originally started the project as "nuckin futz". After losing steam on the project, I offered to take it off their hands, and we worked out a deal, and I bought the car.
The car already came with some key features and some misc parts that I will be using. 468 big block, 4L80E, front clip and 4 link rear, etc.
Here's the project: 1970 Nova
- Chassisworks front subframe
- Varishock double adjustable coil-overs, power rack and pinion
- Wilwood W6A calipers, 14" rotors
- DSE mini tub
- Chassisworks 4 link with Varishock adjustable coil-overs
- Chassisworks sub frame conectors
- Currie narrowed 9", Strange Aluminum 3rd member
- Fully fabricated roll cage
- JCG stretched fenders, and "other" metal work (stay tuned)
- 19x9.5 and 19x12 NewGen LITEs in 3 piece competition line
- 275/30/19 and 335/30/19 NT05s
- Fesler "first off" interior door panels
- Fesler billet accessories
- Custom sheet metal/leather interior
My overall theme for the appearance of the car is a cross between vintage trans/am, and pro-touring.
My goal for the car is to compete and have fun on track days, Good-Guys Auto X events, and hopefully... the Optima Challenge 2011. That just seems like a lot of fun!
I also want to collaborate with some of the vendors and friends and relationships we've built in the industry. I think the relationships and friendships that we've built up over the years is the sole reason why we continue to work at making DriverzInc.com grow, and its the one reason why I continue to work hard at developing our business.
A BIG thank you in advance to all those who have already contributed to the project. We're going to need a lot of help along the way guys. If anyone is interested in helping out, please let me know. I plan to run a logo panel across the rocker panel of all the companies that have contributed to the build.

Here is the rough draft rendering Ben has put together:

Paint: Matte Pearl White. Yes, matte. I'm a big fan of matte colors, and I want to use DriverzInc company colors on this car as it is going to be a bill board for our business, so white, grey, and orange.
Note: I already made a change to the wheel finish: matte black centers, with matte gun metal outers.
This introduction post is already getting lengthy, so I am going to stop here, and start a new post updating what has already been done to the car, and where we are currently with the build.
