I'm really excited about this one. In a barn since 1957 or so. Even had some hay in it, lol. 1950's battery charger, original seats, All the original glass except the passenger door and still operates :). This one's going to be down N' dirty but should be fun!

Looks like lots of HISTORY sitting there! Good luck with the build....
Going to put the 2003 Cobra DOHC engine in it that I was originally going to use in the Mustang. Leaning towards carburetor and an automatic. 9 inch for the rear and a mild chop.
Cant wait to see what you do. Ive got a 31 5 window I cant decided what to do with it.
I'll be watching also. I have a 31 Tudor that is waiting in the wings...
If you know someone to buy this 4.6 ;)
:D So no hood then?
How about a '29 A with Cosworth BDA power, 5-speed, and cast aluminum wheels patterned on the original wooden spoke wheels: http://www.hotrod.com/featuredvehicl...a_touring_car/
Maybe I'll rebuild the factory. LOL

We put a battery to the horn and it still works!! :).
Scary to think about how fast that car can travel on original suspension.
I love the car.
As for the little flat 4, they are getting harder to find, very nice motor just not a lot of power. Odd thing is the best place to find the motors are on old generators.
I have a '32 all original roadster that my Grandfather bought new.
I am looking at building a 32 sedan delivery body, that my grandfather had bought used. Which we do not have the chassis or drivetrain to any longer.
So what are the plans for this thing suspension wise? Full custom chassis and craziness???
I'm excited to see it. That's a lot of rust repair ahead of you...
That's the best part...............there will actually be very little rust repair :). It's getting a full chassis that we'll build in house. Chop 3" and channeled around 4". Putting the 2003 all aluminum 4.6 DOHC cobra engine that I had planned to originally use in the mustang with an AOD tranny and a 9". Coil overs and a straight front axle (most likely) with disc brakes all around. Other than fixing the rust around some of the lower parts of the body and taking the running boards off I'm not doing anything else body wise :).
