What you sold the 66?!? Well I guess it was meant to be then. How was the comfort factor in those seats your buying? I'm still not sure if I want to keep my new GTO seats or swap them out in mine for something else.
Ya... to be honest I wasn't expecting it, since every other buyer wasn't even in the same ballpark as what I was asking (that whole 'down market' excuse). But I'm looking forward to putting all my time and effort into the Nova again. I'll find another down the road, and do it right.
How far from the roof are the head rests?
Here's a link to the seats I got. I just set them in place. There's plenty of room between my head and the headliner (I'm 6'1"), but keep in mind they'll go up an inch and a half or so when I install them (due to sliders + brackets).
And a pic

chrysler sebring convert seats. have the 3 point belt built in there perfect for a hardtop car.
those sebring convert seats would also do well with a convertable (obvi). mine being a post car, I have no problem running these taller seats with 3-point belts attached to the roof, which is next on my list. anyway... I finally got the corbeau's installed. man, I can't believe I actually sit in the car, as opposed to that milk-crate feeling of having seats that are way too tall a la the procars I replaced. I fabbed my own brackets so they'd basically sit on the floor. You can see 'em in the pics, but I CAD'd the design so I can have a set water-jetted for a cleaner look. I now have a hands-width (just under 5" maybe?) between my head and the headliner.

yeah with a post car you could run any bucket well you could in a hardtop but the built in belt sure looks better than it mounted to roof imo. i wish my car was a post so i could run any seat.
Are the Cipher seats even available? When you look at their web site every seat I like says it is sold out.
Trevor, man those look good......I told you that you could not go wrong with these seats!!!!!

Thanks for posting up the pix! I've been seeing the GTS IIs in magazine ads and wondering what they would actually look like installed in a car. Think I might have to get a set of those. Have you put much seat time in on them yet? Any thoughts on "long drive" comfort?
Dan
I've driven the car to and from work a few times (16 miles each way, 90% highway), and love the em. Unfortunately, I've still got ET streets and pizza cutters on it, so it doesn't get driven too much (new babies don't help much either). But these are far and away the best seats I've had in her (vs stock bench, junkyard buckets, and Procars).
Dan,
I have driven a couple of thousand miles on my seats.
Nothing longer than about 1-1/2 hours at a time, but they feel great.
You will have to keep your wallet in the dash though........
They fit tight to the rear end!!

Love my C6 seats!
We have been sellinga a ton of Corbeau, if anyone is local i have 3 here in the showroom on display, no complaints so far and we do a forum member discount on them.
Nice thing is they have lots of options...seat heaters, diff. Fabrics, rails, ect...
