When you say largest are you asking about width, diameter, or both? Most of our customers end up going with 18" wheels. If that is the case, 18x8/18x9's with 245/40/18 and 275/40/18 is the sweet spot. If you have any questions feel free to give us a call at the shop.
I was refering to width and diameter. Thanks a ton. I thought that would be the size but wasn't sure.
These are 19x10 with 275/35 tire on my stock 67. They were on a 69 before i got them, and they barely fit on the 67. Can get back spacing off them if you need. I have an 8.5 10 bolt but the width should be the same on stock 10/12 bolt. Scott
NICE RIDE!!! If you could find the BS that would be great. Does the rears rube?
We typically do 18x8s and 9s with 245s and 275s for a safe fit on a low car. 19s look so good on them but unfortunately 9.0 isn't a standard width in 19.
Im running 18x8 front, 18x9 rear Boyd Coddington Junk Yard Dog 2-piece aluminum wheels, powder-coated in flat black. Toyo Proxes 225/40-18 front and 275/35-18 rear. But the rears are a bit too small diameter, Im going to go with 295/35 for next set, that will be a half inch larger diameter. My car is lowered 3" in rear and 1.5 in front.

I think it was:
Front: 18x8. Offset: +12, Backside Setting: 4 1/2 (Tires: 225/40-18)
Rear: 18x9. Offset: 0, Backside Setting: 5 (Tires: 275/35-18)
But check with the guys at Boyd's, they can help. http://billetwheel.com Talk to Chris
