The wheel guide is great. Very helpfull, but,,,,,the names are cut off. I cannot view the owners of the 69 Camaro's.
Is it my computer?
The names are partially cutoff for me too, looks like the table formatting needs to be modified or something. As soon as I get front wheels I will submit my specs.Quote:

my profile for that list has changed who should i contact to have it changed
How do I get my car on that database?
And... it might be a good idea to have a column saying "minitubbed or modified tub" yes or no.
That way people don't just assume a large wheel and tire package will fit a car.
Just a thought,

On Vince Ortiz 70 Camaro, how did he fit the 335? Mini - tubbed?
Would be nice to have a column that states "Mini Tub".. Yes or No
I agree with the mini-tub comment , maybe leaf spring yes or no would help also...
Yes, that car is minitubbed.... sort of.... Well, it will be when he has time to finish it. The wheels have been mocked in place, but no work has been finished yet. He's apparently still deciding on what to put out back in terms of suspension. And that's besides the rest of the jobs he's working on. Look for MrQuick, and check his profile. I believe there's a link to his web page on there. He's got pics up.Quote:

I appreciate all the hard work that has gone and will go into the database; however, virtually all of the backspacing specifications are followed by "?." IMHO, that makes the database of very little use, as 0.25" can make the difference between a wheel and tire being fine and not working well. Can we ask people to be more precise, or give instructions on how to measure?
How can i add mine in?
71 pontiac firebird
19x8.5 in front, 5 1/4" backspacing 255/35/19
19x10 in rear, 5 11/16" backspacing 295/35/19
CCW wheels 505A's
Not minitubbed
cody bouc
I'll add my car to the datebase
1971 Camaro
1" drop springs rear
2.5" drop springs front
All 4 corner wheels: 16x10" 5" Backspace
All 4 corner tires: 265/45WR16
Had to roll the rear fender lip but otherwise fits no problem.
Hey guys,
This is a static database that was built in MS word. Meaning, it can't be updated. However, you can add your information to this thread as some of you have done, this way others can still view it. There are plans to make a new database, but with so many other things that take priority, it is a ways off. The new car gallery will be searchable, so it will basically take the place of the database.
1969 Camaro SS 350
10 bolt positraction rear/SSBC disc brakes front & back
Monoleaf springs/Monroe air socks
15x8 Torque Thrust II's with 4 1/2 backs space
255/60 R15 BFG's on rear
Tires are centered with no rub. Air shocks no longer necessary.
TT II's with 4 3/4 would also work.
