Default What suspension do you recommend for a chevelle

I have a 67 Chevelle SS with a 525 hp big block and currently running a 295-50-15 out back. The problem is it handles about like a sentra in which it should b/c it is pretty much stock. What suspension setups or kits would you recommend. I am on a tight budget but would at least like to not tense up when i am going into a curve. The car is a street car and will probably never see a drag strip or road course but i want to get something that i won't have to upgrade in a year.

We have a few brands of suspension for your Chevelle. DSE, Hotchkis and Speedtech. We did a 67 Chevelle, all almuminum 572, did Hotchkis all the way around. Check it out on our Website ProdigyCustoms.com in the project section.

And give me a call tomorrow 8AM to 8PM eastern to discuss you budget and needs. With 3 brands, we can shoose the one to suit your needs best.

I highly second that. I have the A-body suspension on my 65 Cutlass. Really awesome set up. Watch for articles on the install in PHR starting Jan.2010.
