Did the losers get any kind of monetary compensation for damage done to their cars, or anything at all? Are you all actors with S.A.G. now?

Any word on episodes via the interwebs? Speed is still a no go. It sure would suck to miss out on all this.

No compensation, cars on the line..... **** I wish I got paid like an actor! lol.... If any of us had to really act, or play into a "fake reality tv show" like many paint it to be... I think it would be 10x worse! lol...

What is on the show is not scripted, not fake, not set up.... what happens happens, and that's just the way it is. Alot of people think some were told to say this or do that, but we weren't.... it really is a race to all of us. Between 24 people starting the show, it's not very difficult to edit and crop what everyone says to fill up a 40 minute episode, which probably 20 minutes of it is actually talking... so there is a storyline, but it's all real

Was glad to see the Porche guys go out first. They were tools. Hopefully the EVO guys will be gone soon. They are VERY annoying. My 16 yr old son LOVES the VW bus. I do too. Nice paint job and appearance. Can't wait to see how this season turns out.

Oh nooooo... The poor Dart! Was it salvageable? I was asking myself how could anyone be such a poor driver... but I have done a few dumb things in my life... like nearly totaling my old '89 Vette... but it was the cars fault! I did feel a little guilty about laughing when the Evo was totaled... after I picked myself off the floor from laughing so hard.

My wife and I want to do it next year... But not in my Vette or Camaro after watching last nights episode...

ok, I get it. we are supposed to believe the show is real and not scripted. (just like wrestling. right Bill?)
so the problem must be with the editting because last week from a
spectator's view the evo clearly lost the blind challenge yet the ferrari got sent home. this week the evo seemed the faster car in
the challenge yet they lost to the dart.
my suggestion is this. if these events are to be verifyable why don't we see a live stopwatch during the challenge?
oh yeah, there needs to be suspense during the commercial break so we can all be surprised by the outcome. how theatrical.
in my mind they had to dump the ferrari (and porche) early. there is no way he was going to bust his pretty red nose through that fence. forget that 'it will buff out' crap. my exotic would never bullrun.

Dammit. I have it Tivo'd. Must not read until I watch. I think it might have been spoiled already, but I hope not.

Stupid fart in the dart. He sees the evo get totalled on a big chunk of concrete, then jerks around in the same area, and flips the car....on a big chunk of concrete.
And what's with the roof? It split down the center like it was all bondo and fiberglass.

After finally watching it last night all I can say is WOW... What an ending. Yes I was snickering a "little" when the EVO guys smashed up their car. I'm glad no one got hurt. But the guy driving was a jerk. Felt sorry for the guy who owned the car.

As for Team Dart .. what were they thinking. Take you run and drive it back. Hot doging gets you everytime. I hope they are able to get it back on the road. But I doubt it will be drivable.

Excellent series so far ...

I felt bad about the dart, he seemed like a good guy and he owned right up to it. Its easy to judge when you are not there in front of the camera, nerves and adrenaline. I put a gsxr through a store window once so I empathize.

Did anybody notice the idiot evo driver explaining why he was the driver. "I had a baja bug, so I know how to drive on the dirt more than him".

Then at the very end of the show he was back-peddling, " what you got to understand is that I'm a pavement guy, autocross and stuff like that"

Gotta wonder how their friendship is. They both epitomize everything that is wrong with the import scene and why I just couldn't bring myself to buy an evo / wrx even though I looked really hard at them. Great cars, but boy-racer styling, and *******s behind the wheels.

I'll take the redneck mentality of camaro's anyday.

TeamDart-

Did the evo guys help you patch things up, or did they go cuddle in their hotel room ?

Maybe Dart got lucky and there was a frame puller in the shop? It looked like they were trying to patch it up, but I am betting that it just isnt up to another long haul with that much damage :(

Team EVO gettin' tossed made me like the show even more......

Team Dart flipping after the course was silly, but then again....I've done much worse in stupid actions.

I hope they are able to patch it back together.....that's a lot of damage.

Main thing is, no one (even EVO) got hurt too badly.
