NASCAR / Camaro
Some were asking if this could be done. Well my "body-guy" & I are giving it a shot. What you have here is a new McLaughlin NASCAR rolling-road-course-chassis that I am grafting together with a 1967 Camaro body. Extensive planning, measuring & head scratching
 occurred long before the torch was put to metal. We are past three quarters done on all the metal work to date. The few shots you see here are about four weeks ago. Once all metal work is done we will assemble all components for test fitting, then disassemble for paint work. Body is fully removable and bolts to frame work.

That is going to be sweet. My next project will be sorta like this, hopefully. And what about doors, will you have to climb in NASCAR style or will part of the cage be hinged.

Wow! My NASCAR theme was just to have some of the components (such as: 14" mirror, Tilton pedals, window net, Basset/Aero looking wheels, quick release steering, full floater 9", Kirkey Seats, etc.) This goes way beyond, really cool!
One question: will it have roof flaps? That would be plain wicked.

Oh wow that thing is SICK!
I kinda dig the wing, I was considering having a second decklid with one attached to bolt on for track days. The stang that TCP built has a nice look to it with a wing.
