Default LED Headlamps

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has seen these new LED headlamps from Trucklite. http://www.truck-lite.com/webapp/wcs...4057&langId=-1
They are pricey at about $300 each but if it means I ain't gotta cut up anything to make them fit....

I saw a bunch of them at SEMA today, mostly in Jeeps. I believe they are bolt in. Maybe a little tweak with the factory headlight ring...

LEDs are the future so give it a little more time and the prices will come down, the applications will go up, and the performance will go up as well.

There werent any lit up at the show. Even if there were, it wouldn't give a very good idea of light output. You would need a dark room and a white wall to see the light pattern...

I first saw these lights over on the Harley forum... I think someone had it installed with a camparison photo... I'll go look...

Thanks for the pics; that does looks promising. Unfortunately, as previously stated their website does not list the lumens rating. However, for comparison, their auxiliary lighting product is rated at 2000 lumens; and, it only uses a fraction (1.4a) of the amps that the headlamps (2.5a/4.5a) are rated for. According to Sylvania's website, the Silverstar lamps range anywhere from 700-1700 lumens depending on the application.

I'll be watching closely for a release of the 4651 & 4656 sizes.
