Default Wyotech instructor living the life...

Just found this site and it seems to be right up my alley. I'm a Chassis Fabrication instructor at Wyotech in Blairsville, PA. I've been directly involved in racing for 25 straight years and built, repaired and crewed on a lot of different types of race cars. Since 2000, I've been racing asphalt supermodifieds, but also did a few years as a crew chief for a vintage Can Am (those things RULE) race team .

Heres a pic of my latest project:

And the finished look I'm going for...

Stay tuned.

Chassis fab eh? I took Automotive and chassis fab at the Laramie campus. Too bad that was the only one they had back then. Laramie is a terrible place for a 19 yr old lol.

Welcome to the forum. You will find most of the people here are very helpful and easy to get along with.

On a seperate note, I personally miss living in Laramie. The 3 years I spent at Wyotech in Laramie were some of the best years of my life. But my wife was with me...

I went to Blairsville a couple of years ago.
Sorry man, but honestly, it was a waste of money. I learned alot in the chassis fab class but the rest was a joke.
Now, where is that pic, and whats your name?

Are there any chassis courses offered at wyotech without taking the other chapters?. I received info on the school a few years back but it seemed at the time it was like our community colleges here but with a few days of race car sessions.

Any help would be appreciated

thanks Ross

Yeah I wouldn't mind going back just for street rod if they allow that now. Shoot I'd even take the collision refinishing core class so that I could take street rod but tuition is too high. I thought it was a good school but too expensive, and I guess it's more now.

Ha. No, just about everything but... From 2000 to 2006 I crewed and ran asphalt supermodifieds with SRL and SMRA.

That looks pretty cool! I was going to go to Wyotech PA and even take your course.. But it was too expensive.
