- The OPTIMA Batteries Ultimate Streetcar Invitational is designed to give builders and owners of some the world’s most awesome streetcars the opportunity to show their stuff on a closed circuit professional road racing course.

This event will provide a dynamic proving ground to test the handling and road manners of some of America’s best-built musclecars. This event is a four-element event open to domestic 1978 and prior model year vehicles. The event will be run at two of the Midwest’s premier facilities, Putnam Park Road Course, in Mount Meridian Indiana, and the Mid-American Air Center, located in Lawrenceville, Illinois. The four elements include road course, street driving, autocross and a speed-stop challenge.

The OPTIMA Batteries Faceoff at Road America presented by Detroit Speed & Engineering and Baer Brakes will be a combination of track, autocross, speed-stop and street driving elements, all taking place at the famed Road America facility in Elkhart Lake, WI on May 1st and 2nd.
