Any of you Tennesse guys go to this?

My family is planing a weekend getaway to the area, and just happens to be on this weekend.

I was asked to come, and said I would but I am driving the 61 and entering it in the show.

Never been, what should I expect?

I lived in Knoxville for 10 years.

Expect bumper-to-bumper traffic all weekend, classic cars lined up for miles, burnouts at night everywhere and thousands of people on the sidewalk watching...

Oh yeah, and all hotels in the area are full to the max...

The show itself has some mega-$$$ cars on display...

I was there a few years ago just after Labor day weekend & the following weekend was a big show like this (not sure what it was) & like Andreas said, bumper to bumper on the roads & tons of people on the sidewalk. I never did make it to where the "real" car show was though.

I'd be afraid to take this stock 61 thru the hills too fast!

It's definitely worth going to. However it is ridiculously overcrowded and you will not be able to see it all w/o a bicycle, scooter exc. exc.
