I am blown away by a unbelievable gesture of appreciation and have to tell someone about this. I am kind of chocked up to be honest. In 28 years of doing cars, I have amassed a long list of awesome customers. Now I have to add another to my list right up near the top.
Every once is a while one runs into one of those customers that makes you remember why it is you do what you do the way that you do it. At Prodigy Customs, we pride we ourselves on over delivering. I have worked very hard to breed this into my sons, especially Michael who works with me and the other Prodigy's that work with us. And I am happy to say they have all adopted that theory with pride.
So my main man Ted, owner of th Bull Run project.............. well, Ted has gotten a few extras on behalf of Prodigy Customs and our connections to make his already awesome project, even more awesome. All in exchange for a good showing at the Bull Run Rally, to remember our name, and our recognizing the promotional value of the this car.
So anyway, Ted has not got to see the car but a couple times in the last few months, and slide in a little 4 hour visit. He had been telling me he had a surprise, so I sent him a pic my latest surprise, his brand new in the crate GM 4L80E I scored (he was supposed to get a rebuilt from a local shop), So Ted shows up and hands me a Denny's bag. I though, an all American Slam?
I open the bag, and it is a expensive Tag Hauer watch! WOW! I was so blown away, all I could do to keep from chocking up was tell him I have been needing a work watch, LOL! Making light of the entire thing. I still do not really know what to say, so I thought a public shout out to a real class act, and to share it with all my friends on the forums would be the best thing I could do.
Ted, your awesome. And you car is going to be simply badd ass. You one upped me. You picked the right guy to one up. I am trying to figure out what extra we can do to top you.
Thanks man, see you in New York Weds!
And if any of you have a chance to meet my friend Ted, give him a what's up from Frank!
