I don't know much about them other than they share a lot of parts with Chevelles and Malibus. I found a 64 Camino project local that I am going to look at tommorrow. The guy bought it, drove it home, parked it, and has not moved since. He died and now the family is selling it. It is not suppose to have a lot of rust in it and was told it was fairly straight. What is it worth complete with a inline 6 or V8? They are asking $750 for it. I think its fair but I am looking to keep a few things off it and sell the rest. Thanks for the help.

If it is not a rust bucket, buy it. For that price the type motor doesn't matter.

They aren't worth cr@p, talk the the guy into giving it to me, I'll get rid of it.

"A" body values are going up everyday, I paid 600 for my 65 Elco with no drivetrain and 12" holes behind the seats. Look real close for rust, it hides on "A" bodies. Common spots are under the front and rerar window window chrome reveals, behind the back seat under the carpet, and inside the smugglers box. If you are handy with a torch then the floors are no big deal, they are reproduced. The front window gets tricky as you can see the repair in the dash through the front glass if it isn't done perfect. Patch panels for the front glass and rear window are available.

Little or no rust is way cheap, buy it!

Well, I went and looked at the El Camino today and it was junk. On a good note though, the guy that had was a friend in high school I had not seen in 13 years.
