FedEx lost my new AFX Spindles!
Waiting is so hard...
What really gets me, though is every time you call them, someone tells you something different. First, they will call me back the same day. So, no call ever comes. Second person says they'll have someone else call me by such and such a time, and no call ever comes. I call again, and this person says whoever I talked to told me wrong, it takes 24 to 48 hours to track down a missing package....
Now is that 24 to 48 hours from my first call or the last call. Geeezzz!

That sucks.. hopefully ATS had them insured.. Some companies don't do it to save money, but that never made sense to me.
Anyways. Hope you get a replacement set soon!
Oh, and since ATS was the shipper you should let them know since they would have to file the claim..

Tyler! Quite using FedEx yo! I've used UPS for as long as I can remember with zero problems. Mark and I decided to try FedEx...shipped one front and one rear crossmember. They lost the front crossmember. That was the first and last time they'll ever get money from me.
How do you lose a 36" wide crossmember?!?
Beyond that, all the shipping locations here in town (ok, both of them) have boycotted FedEx due to service issues.

The major reason I don't use Jeg's, they ship via FedEx. I hate FedEx.

Check with ATS they spelled my address wrong but I still recieved it.
UPS are no angels either they have their problems like any other.
I bet they spelled your address wrong...just a thought,

You have got to be kidding me. They have been excellent up until 3 weeks ago. This would be our first 'lost' package from Fed Ex, but we always insure every shipment to its full retail value for just this very reason.
I'll be on the phone with them today and get this cleared up.

Thanks, Tyler. I had no worries about things on your end. You're a good guy.
I was going to wait until the end of today before I bothered you with it, just to see if FedEx could figure things out within their stated lost package search timeframe.

I guess it just depends on the management for a particular area. I have had zero problems with FEDEX for 10yrs and quite a few with UPS. I ship items almost everyday and I prefer FEDEX, much faster and cheaper.

Hey Tyler, the lost my sway bar too! LOL sorry, just kidding. That sucks about the spindles. Allen got an empty box with a big hole in the bottom once... see, meth is bad.

My company ships every day with FedEx and have zero problems. We used UPS up until 4 years ago and had lots of problems. Had one package returned with tire tracks on it that they refused our damage claim. Tried shipping some items to VA twice and both times they arrived destroyed.

I hate UPS and try to use FedEx whenever possible. I worked at UPS and know how packages get treated. I wasn't supprised when my last package arrived smashed and damaged. Called them and they told me there would be an investigation. I just wanted some money refunded, part of the $40 the part cost me. Never heard back from them.

Woo hooooo! I got my Spindles!.. Thanks to Tyler who called the local FedEx Hub and got someone to personally go look for them and then got them to put them on a truck and deliver same day.
These things are just awesome!

Here's my first set of spindles that Fedex played kickball with.
I was in the middle of pulling an engine, and the Fedex guy sets the box on a seat 20 feet away, doesn't say a word, gets me to sign the electro-buzzer, and skips his happy little ass on.
Chipped, scratched, and one stud bent, ATS took care of the whole deal for me and sent me a new set. They really went above and beyond to make sure I was happy.
I think the Fedex problem is specific to certain hubs. I have a friend in management at Orlando's hub, and they are #1 in the US for damage claims.

Wow, I can't believe they even deliver it like that! How hard could it be for them to slip that box inside another box?

Ummm.... Vince, the box I got still had the packing in it. You know, so the air inside wouldn't get damaged. And I got that one via USPS. Both FedEx and UPS suck. Both are a toss up on who's gonna get you the parts either in time, or in good condition. I've had trouble with both of them. FedEx got one or our shipments delivered three days late, and UPS mis-routes and loses stuff at least once every two months like clockwork. They all suck.

Well....I didn't get mine. They were scheduled to be delivered Friday and now the tracking number says Monday. I don't get home until 3:00pm and my Wife works afternoons on Mondays. I wonder if I can get my neighbor to sign for the package. If not looks like I'll have to wait until Tuesday. Really sucks because I wanted to put my front suspension back together this weekend and instead the car just sat.

Three letters... DHL (or Deah, Hakhay, HLee in Italian)
They were way cheaper and more reliable when I was living in Europe then anywhere else. They are also making a big push in the states so your much more likely to get a good experience with them.

The Only Reason I Hate Fedex Is Because They Would Leave Your Package Even If You Dont Answer The Door ...sitting There Just For Anyone To Grab And It Really Dont Help When You Live In Oakland Ca Lol ...but Then I Hate Ups Because They Lost A Few Of My Packages But They Were Found Later On ...so I Guess All Companies Suck

I had FedEx deliver to a address that doesn't exist and then tried to blame me for their driver being a mental midget. When I called they didn't call back when they said they would after investigation, they kept claiming that their driver hadn't contacted the investigator. After contacting the vendor, who said they were tired of FedEx problems, they shipped UPS and it got here in a day, 2 weeks later FedEx found it and finially got to me. I would rather send packages by dog sled after the way FedEx Ground treated me.

I love the fact that they leave stuff when I am not there, or I would never get anything. Then again, I don't live in Oakland. Heck, I don't even lock my house. Gotta love MY TOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
