Corvettes were meant to be driven, and driven hard. I am just starting to pound this one into the ground. Get a good look at the back bumper, because that may be all you ever see of this beast on the street.

Story

We bought this car back in 2000. It was a pile of junk! We quickly realized as we pulled what was left of the body from the rusty frame that it was never going back stock. We basically replaced EVERYTHING from the ground up. I had a picture in my mind that I was working from. Joni Kiurunen's 69 Vette here at Pro-Touring got me thinking about fender flares and freaky wheels and tires. We wanted to build a classic muscle car that could stop, turn, cruise like a new Cadillac, and press you into the seat like a race mule when you mashed the throttle. My buddy Tom Seymore turned me onto this site, and I have been gathering ideas every since. I hate carbs, and knew that EFI was a natural next step. Edelbrock has been awesome to work with, and tuning the car is a simple push of a button on the control head. Of course, the suspension is the next best thing to having a C5. Vette Brakes & Products created a wicked fully adjustable system to not only create virtually any desired ride height, but stiffness and performance level desired. We topped off the car with some nice additional features like a QuarterMaster hydraulic release bearing, all kinds of power goodies, and of course....AIR CONDITIONING! The Intro Pentia wheels and tires were the icing on the cake. Dave and Lynn at www.hvydeez.com worked hand and hand with me to custom build the offset, and the extra wide 12" hoops in the rear. People FREAK over the wheels and tires.....all the way from little ricer punks to old time hot rodders. This car handles like a race car, accelerates like a rocket, stops like...well, a stock Corvette, and gets more looks than Pamela Anderson in a thong. Future mods include a Richmond six speed, Steeroids rack, and bigger better brakes.
