The motor was built as a project in Chevy High Performance magazine Feb 98 "Mini Blower Maxi Power". In the original Dyno test we made 513hp & 502 tq, since that time we improved ignition (from HEI to Crane HI-6) and fuel system. We put the motor back on the Dyno after abusing it for 6,000 miles, 150+ runs at the drags (11.57 @ 118.90 best) and driving it to Nashville in 1999 on the Hot Rod Power Tour. It made 540 hp & 535 tq!

Here are the specs:
350 + .040 =355 Cubes
Ross Flat Top Pistons 8.8 to 1 comp

6" rods
Isky Hyd roller 246/246 @ .050 .580 lift w/ 1.6 rockers
Air Flow Research 190cc cyl heads
Holley (used to be B&M) 144 blower driven @ 2.7 to 1 for 8lbs boost
Carb Shop stage 3 850 Holley
Runs well on 92 pump gas, on Power Tour we changed to a quadrajet and got 17mpg thanks also to the 700R OD trans we used to have!

The car finished second in the first 0-100-0 event put on by Chevy High Performance Jun 1999 issue.
