When Bill Howell said " When you guys coming find the building with this sign, you have arrived at funville" he was not  kidding. Great times and fun was had by all. First of all I want to thank Bill and Melinda Howell for setting up and funding this event. They really out did themselves.  I also want to thank my wonderful wife Susan for all the help and for letting me drag her all the way to Tennessee for the weekend. While we didn't get much time to see the sights it was enough to make us think about coming back soon for a real vacation. When we arrived on Knoxville Bill and Nick picked us up at the airport. We all drove over to Gary Neff's garage where Bill's Malibu was still being worked on late into the day.

In fact, just earlier that day Bill got it back from paint and was already swapping out the carburetor. What a cool ride! While it had a shifting issue that needed to be worked out it did well being flogged all day by a few people. Heck even Bill's golf cart made a pass!

After Bill's car was running Susan, myself and the gang from Prodigy Customs all headed over to the The Howell's. Bill was kind enough to let us borrow his Corvette (which also saw many passes down the strip) for the weekend. Thanks again Bill! After a bit of bench racing it was off for some sleep and to prepare for the weekend. The long flight and the time change really wiped us out
.

Breakfast came very early in the morning at the Log Cabin Pancake House where about a dozen of us got together to wake up the locals and enjoy a true southern breakfast that sticks to your ribs. I've not had biscuits & gravy that good since I lived at home with my Alabama born mother.

After breakfast everyone headed over to the Howell's for a little tweaking, drinking, washing and getting ready for the run to Floyd Garrett's Muscle Car Museum and dinner afterwards.  After breakfast Susan and myself jumped in the Howell's Hummer and headed to Gatlinburg for a little shopping and lunch on the river. I still can't get over how beautiful the area is. Talk about green!
