SEMA/Monster Ad: Technical Support Representative
In 1974, Total Cost Involved (TCI) built the first model "A" reproduction frame that took the Street Rod market by storm. Today, we occupy more than 27,000 square feet of manufacturing space, delivering a broad product mix serving street rod enthusiasts as well as builders of classic cars, muscle cars and trucks including chassis, front and rear suspensions, brake kits and more. We've earned numerous design awards, including the coveted "Manufacture of the Year" award from SEMA-SRMA and participated in T.V. shows like Overhaulin with Chip Foose, and Chop Cut Rebuild.

We’re looking for a real “tech pro” to join our Inside Sales staff, one who would love to help our customers (authorized TCI dealers and end-users alike) troubleshoot a wide variety of installation issues. You’ll master the specifications of our existing product lines, and, using your experience, provide quality technical advice over the phone to our customers. You’ll also travel to select car shows around the country to provide face-to-face technical advice for our top dealers and end user customers to help us build our relationships with them. This is truly a great position to learn our company, our customers, our product and why we’re the leader in the classic car industry.

Our qualified candidate must be an experienced engineer, one who knows cars and suspension parts well, and one who’s got great success stories to prove it. Must be comfortable and effective with people, both on the phone and in-person, and demonstrate great relationship building skills. Must also be an effective team player dedicated to growing our business through great customer service. The key to success for this role: technical competency and a passion to help others succeed with their projects. Competitive salary based upon experience and an incentive program based upon our sales team’s performance. Comprehensive benefits available. Please visit us on-line at www.totalcostinvolved.com (http://www.totalcostinvolved.com/).

Job Experience:
5+ years of proven automotive, mechanical and technical experience with car rebuilds (especially suspension parts for classic/muscle cars)
Understanding of parts design and engineering blue print
Demonstrate the application and installation of critical suspension parts
Comfortable on the phone with great telephone skills
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and understandably to customers of all skill levels
Experience dealing with customer service issues along with a proven problem-solver
Team player and works well with others (employees and customers alike)
Computer savvy with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
Organized and detail-conscious
