We all had a great weekend up at the Gingerman road course. THANK you Lane Automotive for the hard work and effort for such an awesome event once again. New friends , old friends and a bunch of cruise time and track time. We all left smiling.

I take it there isn't a roll bar requirment for convertibles? (unless the one on that 32 is clear?) damn that's scary if things go wrong.

They only want you to run 70% if you are in a roofless car without a roll bar. The event organizers trust you to not do anything stupid. I ran one session in the roadster and didn't feel comfortable drving the car (even with a ridiculously slow 2 minute lap) so I parked it the rest of the day. Another guy in a convertible was told to park after a wheels off experience so they are paying attention and safety is the number one priority.

that's cool, at least they were'nt just turning you loose to run it flat out-- everything I've done with the road courses, they had pretty strict rules on convertibles and roadsters. I get uneasy with my camaro even with a roof w/o a bar- I'm use to the vette but that has some factory roll over protection.
