If you missed the AutoCross the Sponsor Shootout and the Strteet Machine Of the Year Shootouts they were all over the top. Running the top four from the weekend in a participants shootout on Sunday Morning was great as it put them head to head and cones and parts failure would change the out come.
The Sponsor Shootout as always was stellar with Goodguys putting in the Summers and Sons Truck to be knocked off, if you could, to take the $5,000.00. All The Sponsor tried but in the end a White C-10 would take the victory. Goodguys will be taking the $5,000 and put it back into the AutoCross with a new wireless sound system, printer for the results and a few other items to improve the AutoCross experiance for all.
The PRO Points are working like Goodguys wanted and it looks to be a great year for some companies and participants.

Here are the results of the different AutoCross Shootouts.

Why is Mark Rife's time the Fastest in SM but he is listed as 4th?

The times listed are the fastest time each person ran over the weekend. They took the top 4 qualifiers and had a single elimination shootout on Sunday. Mark hit a cone in the first round taking him out so the top 4 positions are based on how you finished in the shootout

Correction: Under Street Machine of the Year Autocross, Dave Leisinger's 71 Camaro was driven by Josh Leisinger. It was his first time behind the wheel of this car.

Kim and I had a great time last weekend watching the autox and getting in some rides. It was our first time at the event and it won't be our last.

I will be bringing the monte next year to show at least.
