Well if you missed the event in Del Mar this past weekend you missed a great AutoCross Shootout with the Editors Shootout and the Street Machines coming down to a run off at the end.

I added the Editors Shootout to the bottom of this and the PRO-Class Points.

Thats some serious competition out there. Looking at the SM class, the top 10 are all competitive at the Pro level.

even the fun run guys were fast, I had to run the fun runs because my front tires were 180 threadwear, I changed the backs to the new 200 treadwear rating, just couldnt afford the fronts before the event and I ran a weekend fast for myself of 32.505, there were a few fun run guys in the 32,s to bad times arent listed for those

Brian Hobaugh was pretty dang fast in Blu Balz, and to think they're making that thing quicker!

Not bad for my first GG autocross and only my second autocross.

Bryce, the Falcon looks great out there, keep up the tuning, come out to A.M.P. some tuesday night for some seat time.

Thanks Rob,

I am working on my shopping list to help my tuning ability. One item is my KRC power steering pump. The 8:1 manual steering worked, but I coul dhave been more precise with power. I also will be tightening up the enitre car. Stiffer springs and a splined sway bar.

Mary,

You kicked some serious butt at both Adams and Delmar, I hate to think what will happen when you get the stroker done and have more low end torque. Congratulations!

Thanks, Bruce ...

Coming from you, that means a lot buddy. After the new mill is installed and happy, pretty doubtful this will be a good "Good Guys" car any more. More upgrades and body work planned to accommodate wider wheels for more rubber.

Brian Hobaugh ... get those body techs fed and fit.

And secretly everyone rejoices, knowing that they will finish one spot higher on the scoreboard for the Good Guys peanut.

On a totally unrelated note, I have to mention to everyone that I got a ride in the back of the Newman wagon. It might be the most fun I have ever had in the backseat of a car!

Your doing the wrong things in the back seat of cars then...... There is allot of room back there though!

I was trying to give your driving skills and car quite the compliment, but I guess I can amend that statement to "most fun I've ever had in the backseat of wagon whist on an autocross!?"

I'm sure I could come up with some kind of joke considering your mom was in the wagon too, But I don't want to go there, haha.
