Attention To Detail! Original 1969 Camaro TOTALLY restored!BODY
Complete frame off restored car. Car was broken down to bare metal. Floors, quarter panels,. tail pan, trunk, rocker panels, frame rails all replaced and new. DSE mini tubbed. Firewall smoothed over. Frame sand blasted and powder coated black. Body fabricated for perfect body lines throughout the whole car. Hot Hughes Dupont paint - Jazz blue and silva. Interior paint matches exterior. Fender wells, radiator support, fuel tank, valve covers, brake pedal support, hood springs all powder coated chrome. (looks silver) Undercarriage sprayed with truck bed liner. (Rhino) Absolute perfect condition. Flawless body work. Chrome bolt kit installed.


Suspension
Pro- touring suspension. Chris Alston's triangulated 4 link G-bar. Speed tech tubular A-arms. Vari shock coil over shocks front and rear. Hotchkiss sway bar and tie rods. Body lowered with DSE bushings. 2" dropped spindles.


Engine and Transmission
454 060 over (468) pushes approx 575 HP. March serpentine belt drive system, gear driven. Victor Jr intake with quick fuel 850cfm carb. Aggressive roller cam and roller rockers. runs great and VERY fast. Vintage air GEN IV A/C, DSE gear box with power steering, PRC radiator with dual fans and chrome overflow. (runs less than 200 degrees in traffic in AZ summers!) MSD electronic ignition, Stainless Works 2" primary headers to dual magna flow exhaust, 3". Fule delivery is new sending unit with 1/2 " line. New fuel lines 1/2 ". Holley electronic fuel pump and filter. Dropped air cleaner with 16" element to fit under the stock hood. Moser 12 bolt rear end 3:55 gears tru trak system. Brand new (literally 10 miles on it right now) Hughes turbo 400 transmission with large aluminum pan (cooling) and 2500RPM stall converter.


Electrical
All new wiring throughout the car. DSE battery relocation kit with Optima battery. All brake lines and fuel lines are new. New autometer guages. Marquez design front marker lights and tail lights. DSE headlights. Electric life power windows. DSE wiper motor.


Interior
Everything replaced. New seat foam with houndstooth interior. Marquez design door and rear panels with custom covering, black and carbon fiber. New center console stock replica, Budnik steering wheel on Ididit custom column. New carpet and headliner, DSE custom dash piece, BMW power window rocker switches, new GM seatbelts, all new smoked glass, Alpine stereo with USB port and SAT radio options, focal access 6.5 component speakers and 6X9 in back (not connected). DSE headlight switch and wiper switch. Vintage air chrome A/C switch. Dynamat under carpet and in doors. 3 rocker switches for fuel pump, starter and ignition.


Wheels and Tires
Budnik custom wheels. 18X8 front 19X12 rear. Michelin Pilot 295R30X18 front 335R30X19 Rear. Wilwood disc brakes.


Nearly EVERYTHING has been replaced or re-worked to BRAND NEW!

Oh and I just noticed....if you look closely thereis a pic of the old tranny. There is a brand new Turbo 400 hughes in it now. Less than 200 miles on it.

3/4 of the fun is the build. You did a fantastic job on the Camaro. What is the plan for the next one?

I wish I could take all the credit. The body was done by an outstanding shop in SW Michigan. So much so that I will send the next car their way no problem.....another 69, air ride, new subframe, LS engine, paddle shifters, shaved door handles...something like that. I'm really not fussed if I don't sell this one for I love driving this thing and everyone loves watching it. I have another BB in the garage calling my name.
