Is there any difference in strength between the two, mostly front control arms? Is something I should even care about? Thought I read on the forum that 05+ was stronger but can't remember if that was just the spindles or the control arms and now I can't find the post. Keep finding used C5 front control arms but only rear for the C6.

Geometrically speaking they're the exact same parts and interchangeable.

If you are replacing a set you already have, you should stick to the generation you have now. The sway bar attachment on the LCA is a different size (could be drilled and sleeved) and some C5 brake kits do not fit C6 (i.e. Wilwood).

The C6 knuckle and LCA are a bit stronger than the C5 pieces. If you are starting out fresh, I would recommend C6 components.

Thanks for the replies.
It is a freash build so I'll keep searching for the C6 parts. Did find a set of low mileage knuckles.
