Regular hardware stainless hardware is less than grade 2 and is NOT recommended for critical components like suspension. The ARP stainless hardware is higher grade and is slightly better than grade 8.

I would trust anything ARP makes. Their stuff is awesome. The entire first half of their catalog is engineering information about "why".

Barring that option, McMaster.com and mscdirect.com can ship you anything you need, probably in a day. You just have to do more research to ensure the quality. Both companies customer service can provide you with the brand, certs, etc.

I would trust ARP stainless bolts as well, but last time I checked they did not make stainless bolts in 1/2" diameter, which is what most suspension components use. Also the price is very high...

I founds some high strength stainless bolts on McMaster.com:

"17-4 PH Stainless Steel Alloy—Combines the high strength of alloy steel with the corrosion resistance of stainless steel. It meets ASTM F593 Grade 630 and is magnetic. Screws have a minimum Rockwell hardness of C31 and minimum tensile strength of 140,000 psi."

Regular steel grade 8 bolts have a tensile strength of 150,000 psi, so these are very close.

I'll have to check them out when I do my final assembly. They are like 20min from me.
