been looking for bump stops for my '92 Camaro that I have done a C4 IRS, and tube K-Member and A-arms, I have not put bump stops in yet. today I was watching Xtreme 4X4 on Spike's power block and seen the use of these bump stops, I was thinking that these may have some advantages for pro-touring. with their dampening, rebounding, valving, and varying lengths.

any thoughts?

At that point they sort of become just another spring, don't they? If you used full travel on those in a PT car, you would be sitting on them at ride height. If you spaced them up so they just contacted at full bump travel, it's likely they wouldn't be stiff enough to stop metal to metal contact (or the shocks bottoming out).

This might be a "well, DUH!" point, but those are designed to protect a 5000 lb truck suspension landing off a jump...not a 3500 (etc) lb PT car hitting a pothole.

Cool yes, effective...not sure about that.
