looking into buying a new steering box and wanted to know what you guys are running and what you guys like.
The car is a 66 skylark b body spindles, kore3 hubs, c5 brakes all around, tubular control arms , qa1 coil overs up front, 1.250 sway bar, and the only thing i need to buy is a new column and a steering box.
Thanks Paul

X2 on the Lee Manufacturing. Just send them your box, and pick the ratio you want. I run a 12.1. Works flawless. No fabrication.

I have a Lee steering gear on my dirt modified and although not the same situation, I can vouch for Lee's excellent tech and customer service.

Lee redid my '64 Riviera box with a much higher effort torsion rod and spool valve as well as quickened the ratio up. Can't tell you how much it improved the driving experience of the car. I liked having the original box rebuild since it keeps the internal stops in the right spot instead of worrying about matching a different box.
