No way, it's almost always nice on Easter weekend. Except that one year it snowed.

Easter is typically nice in NJ...
and for those concerned about family/Easter weekend, keep in mind last year we had the cruise/dinner on Friday, Saturday was all day Autocross/Roadcourse and Sunday was the optional go-kart track.... most people headed home Saturday night, so if the schedule is set up the same way.. most should have no problem getting home for Easter Sunday.....

Im really excited for this, my car should blend in alittle better this year.. lol....and I wont be on the track with a smoked clutch...or a ticking time bomb coil.. went through 3 coils that weekend..haha

I hope well get to see you run the vette this year, Nick. It was awesome to see it last year, but Id rather see it on the track! :rotfl:

And I cant wait to see the new paint on your car Sean... Hopefully you wont leave with any battle scars!

I can't wait for this guys, I just hope I can have the car ready, the tranny decided to puke out all of its fluid after I left for basic, plus i need to pull the motor to replace the oil pump, if I can't get a new tranny in time I hope you guys wouldn't kill me if I have to resort to bringing the miata.

Blah,Blah, Blah,,, when you get home I'll help you knock that out in a couple of weekends... you must have missed the rtts memo, specifically states: No miatas allowed ;) haha

No miatas allowed sean? Oh I get it, cuz you wouldn't want me to tear up the autocross with it hahaha just kidding, def gonna try my hardest to be there, even if I still have that tranny but put in the stock converter to see if that will stop it from slipping. Really would like to see the 6 speed and big brakes on it before going out on a big track again.

I better find some inspiration and cash soon, cause I need a worthy engine.

Actually I need any engine other than that stock 307 I have waiting as a temp. That and some good days to actually get it in.

I was starting to wonder the same thing....last year registration was already open by now...I'm assuming the same hotel as last year would be good as soon as registration opens... that back parking lot was perfect.

We stayed at the Hilton, that shared a big back parking lot with another hotel.

Thank you, this is the first time in a very long time that the car is together and ready to go in the spring. Usually the car is in pieces and I am working on the engine until the middle of summer. I should be there, the only set back would be the weather, with the race slick no wet tracks for me. LOL Don

I'm out this year, between it being on Easter weekend, and well some dummy (me) took his car apart... the fun part will be getting the front end back on w/o scratching it (I hope) -Dan

No excuses Dan... I see three other cars listed in your sig that will do fine out there.....haha

Now that registration is open... is everyone staying at the same hotel as last year??

Sean-- true true... the two without tops are probably not a good option, especially since the 68 convertible has "flintsone's" floors at the moment. I could bring out the z06 with some well aged run flats - but those are pretty scary on cold roads, I've been driving it off and on the last few weeks.

I'll actually have my first test fit on the ls7 done this week I hope, got to get the trans ordered though. I tried American Powertrain a couple times over the last few weeks but they don't seem to want to return emails.

Is RTTS sign up open yet? -Dan
