I own 1969 Firebird with original PS.
before i go out there and buy whatever i need to buy i want to know what are the updated answers considering what i need.

I'm going to buy this steering box:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/CARDONE-27-6...item35b479c20b (http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?type=3&campid=5336121784&toolid=10001&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2FCARDONE-27-6550-Steering-Gear-Box-%2F230661145099%3Fpt%3DMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Acce ssories%26vxp%3Dmtr%26hash%3Ditem35b479c20b)

And the LEE POWER STEERING ADAPTER KIT

After all the updates in the end that's all i need right?
Original hoses should fit and everything else around it.

So the installation is:
Bolt out my old box and put the new box and the fitting into it the hoses holes... fill the PS fluid and i'm done right?

Thanks for the help!!!

P.S
I saw here (http://www.camaros.net/forums/showthread.php?t=199736) that the guy said something on Power Steering Pump Valve from the original IROC-Z pump... do i still need it?!

I don't see anything on the cardone box that tells me what ratio or torsion bar was installed.

I sent my box from my 68 FB out to AGR for a rebuild with a 12:1 ratio and a much stiffer torsion bar for a good feel and also got a PS pump from them to match. I don't remember the price but I think it was a little more then the ebay price I saw. In my opinon it was woth it to get exacty what I want and still keep my orignial box. Lee can do this too.

Over here http://69camaro.nextmill.net/steering.html and on other forums people say the cardone box is fast ratio like the AGR and all those $400+ boxs.
