Hey everyone, is anyone using Hotchkis 3" drop leaf springs on a 67-68 Camaro? I'm trying to decide on if I should go 1.5" or 3".

Thanks,
Tony

I'd go 3" - I have the 1.5" and wish I had the 3" They weren't available when I got mine.

Go with the 3” drop. I’ve got the 1.5” drop and currently swapping out with a set of DSE 3” drop springs.

Tony – It depends on how low you want your car. Some people buy the 1.5” drop and then adjust with lowering blocks, but we do sell a lot of 3” drop springs with a lot of good feedback.

Here’s a ’69 with Hotchkis 3” drop front and rear.

Here's the 3" drop springs on Carl Casanova's '68 Camaro (http://link.brightcove.com/services/player/bcpid1033065543001?bckey=AQ~~,AAAAABRLZgk~,_wziyfT vYKpTKEwt304FEs60JsxvtMHf&bclid=1031639305001&bctid=1204489496001).

those 3" inch drops don't really look like much, maybe its just me but id definitely like to go with a 3 inch if you can fit it; the 1.5" isn't a bad idea then you can at least lower it easy with some blocks like hotchkis says. Or if you are only doing a 1.5" maybe just go with blocks and see how you like it wont be out that much money, and if you don't use em ship them to me! =P

I know I'll be changing mine when I get the money, but my LS swap comes first! :)

Thanks guys for all of the replies back. From the sound of it...3" is the way to go.

Thanks,
Tony

We sell a lot more 1.5" but i think its the $$$ diff. And guys just use lowering blocks to fine tune. I am a fan of the hotchkis and DSE 3" leafs, we carry and sell a lot of both. Feel free to call for any advise you need, we have carried both lines for MANY years!
