rear end "stepping out"

1965 Pontiac GTO with an LS1 conversion, Global West tubular control arms front and rears,QA1 coil overs in front QA1 shocks in rear, front lowered about 1 3/4 rear about 1 1/2
when driving faster than 55 mph when I come to a turn a with a bump in it the rear end will step out as if the shocks are not doing their job. Car does have sway bars. Can any one offer any insight or tuning solutions??? thanks

I'm assuming from your description that the car does not show the same problem at lower speeds, even in tighter corners? How much faster than 55??? LOL. Are you sure you don't have rear aero lift issue off that flat decklid?

Try removing the rear sway bar and drive the car under the same conditions. If the problem is noticeably better, soften the rear bar. If NOT, the shocks or springs are likely too stiff.
