Does anyone know where I can order the 2-pin connector for a GM HEI distributor to the coil?I've got an MSD 8366 and need to run the wires to my coil, but don't want to re-purpose something from the junk yard. I would rather crimp my own connector, but would also be ok with a pigtail. Thanks....Eric

What about using a standard 2 pin weather-pack connector?

$7.00 for a male/female pair of connectors with pins and seals:

Crimping it is another story but can be done if you are careful. If you use weatherpack a lot a specific crimper is nice.

I actually have he crimper and a bunch of weatherpack connectors, but the one on the distributor is different (smaller).

Oh sorry thought you meant it was lead coming off the Distributor, thought you could cut off the old one and wire up a different one.

Maybe something like this then:

I actually have a harness I pulled at the junk yard, but the wire feels pretty brittle. Don't want to cut corners with such a minor item.

I did finally find someone who sells a pigtal that plugs into the 2-pin distributor connector:
CONNECTOR 9-26811 - Mallory (http://www.iboats.com/CONNECTOR-9-26811-Mallory/dm/view_id.485301)

I think I'll use the junk yard harness temporarily to get the motor running.
