I was planning on using a 8.5" 10 bolt for my car, but I ran across a 9" that is the correct width for me with my positive offset C5 wheels.

I was planning on running the '93-97 F-Body rear disc set up on the 10 bolt which is a direct bolt on upgrade for any 10 or 12 bolt rear end. I know that the brackets will not match the 9" ends.

Before anyone tells me to call Willwood, Baer, Currie, Strange and buy their system remeber that I want a budget set up if there is one out there for the 9" rear.

Thanks for any help!

How about the SVO’s Bolt-On Rear Disc Brake Conversion Kit For 9-Inch Fords?

Good info on the Fod SVO swap!

Here it is at Summit's website:

I called Ford Motorsports and the kit is directly off of '96-'98 Ford Explorers! It looks like a junk yard run will net me some chaep rear disc brakes!

Might want to check w/Currie - I thought I saw it priced cheaper through them - and they can/will redrill rotor/axle for different bolt pattern if necessary - still not a bad price for all new parts.
