Hey guys,

I'm posting this for another member (beyonda68) who has the ability to read the forum, but cannot post due to computer problems (virus). I hope I transpond this message correctly. The question is: There is a circular part behind the belt tensioner and a dowel is supposed to be pressed into there. There are two holes, one if you have A/C and one if you do not. The dowel slides through the hole and goes in way to easy. Should it be like this, or should there be some pressure or force needed?

It's a vintage air front runner system.

Thanks,

There should be a light press fit between the dowel pin and the tensioner bracket. The dowel should be loose in the "puck" or circular part. If the dowel slips out too easily, you can add a drop of loc-tite to retain it.
