I'm not going to be able to make it this weekend but the good news is that Scott Mock's stepson, Kevin Miller, will be driving the OLC in the Vendor class in the autocross.

Scott's new second gen will be there so it should be a great show at the OPTIMA trailer!

i think i might be just willing to take a half day of vaction this year. Its real easy to use 5 days of vaction a year with all the shows, when you work every weekend of the year.

I will be there with my truck and the rest of my family's cars running the autocross. I am excited to test out the truck for the first time with RideTech Triple-Adjustable Coil-Overs on all four corners and racing seats. Last year I missed most of the festivities and my chance at a track cruise on Saturday, but I should be there all three days this year.

Yep, my money's on Tyler in K.C. I expect a few C-10's in the crowd and I see the Roadster Shop is in the truck chassis biz with a C-10, but I'll put my stake on the 'ol chevy. Will Brandy put the Spectra Camaro in a 'three-pete'? She could turn the tide here for the season, she's got my hopes. My good friend Crosby has been in Jasper tweekin on a certain Camaro and Chevelle, that could put a spin on the Vendor class. I'll bet on Don's roadster in the Streetrod class. Hmm, Street Machine? Finch? a Camaro from Texas? When the Lakeside guys get the Crusher sorted out, it WILL be fast, and then there's the IRS Chevelle we all have seen this season. Can't wait to see the times. Please post up during the show. We'll be iin O.C. at the 'Great Labor Day Cruise' Barry White's SRRC is hosting the autocross, we'll post on facebook all weekend. Have a great one.

Well...the RideTech crew will NOT be in KC this year...we decided to stay home this weekend to get ready for the LS Fest next weekend, and to enjoy the Labor Day holiday with our families.
It's true that Mr Crosby has been making his home in Jasper for the last few months, off and on...but in addition to the 48 Hour Camaro suspension, he has been working on a certain 39 Chevy out of Decauter, In. Before anyone goes to sleep on that 39...it has a custom independent frontend with our Triple Adjustable coilovers [that Rob helped design] and a custom trailing arm/panhard bar system [also with Rob's help] on the rear, along with a custom stainless TigerCage assembly. The car is black and will have 18x12 and 18x10 wheels on it, as well as a complete 700hp CTS V drivetrain...with the paddle shifted 6 speed automatic.

More on this one later...

Good luck to Scott Mock, Kevin Miller, Tyler Gibson, and all the guys who are running our RideTech shocks at Kansas City GG this weekend...nice to see you all doing so well!

Kyle, Kevin and Tyler all ran high 28s. The exact times were in my head but the sun makes you forget stuff. I did remember my 30.1 :-). Funny how that works ain't it.... we'll try to go 29s tomorrow and hope it don't rain, the cold front will be welcome, though. It was quite warm today ......

Ironman Kyle Tucker wins the Vendor class w/a 28.4 lap time,Kevin Miller in the ride tech a quiped 69camaro went 28.6 to win the Street Machine class.Donny won the streetrod class w/a 29.1 and Tyler Gibson wins the truck class w/a 28.8 I belive. We would like to thank the Ride Tech crew for all their help and fine suspension parts. Also This weekend when we needed parts Kyle Tucker and the DSE crew stepped up and helped out also.It was great to see Kevin get a win driving in his own camaro. He has been working very hard on the car this year and come very close a few times. But Brian Finch was able to edge him out.i had a ball so far this week end.Now I will have Kevin make some more passes in my camaro and we will start working on it.

That's a wild truck! You drove the wheels off that thing this weekend!!

Unfortunately, my driving skills ran out on Sunday morning, and I literally drove the wheels off of it. I hit the chain link fence just past the finish line and took out two of the poles holding it up. Luckily, no one was hurt. I hope I did not ruin the fun for anyone else, and if so I apologize. The impact bent the motor mounts and shifted the transmission over causing the driveshaft to rub. The two passenger side wheels are pretty bent up too. A ratchet strap and spare rear wheel allowed me to limp the truck through the winner's circle. It appears that the only structural damage was to the motor mounts. The frame and suspension are intact. The sheet metal and other components can all be replaced.

After Dave did some setup changes, the Crusher camaro started to dial in at Car Craft Summer Nat'ls. Then in KC, DK's "Crusher" Camaro with the help of Kyle Tucker was able to run the fastest time of the weekend on Sunday after the shootout. It ran a 28.411, 28.595, 28.564 with Roger at the wheel, taking down Kyle's fastest time of a 28.486. Karen & Josh were also turning in good times. Thanks for all the help Kyle!
