Hello,

I'm looking at getting a 9 inch rear end from Moser with the 35 spline axles and wavetrac centre fro my SBC Procharged 69 Camaro.
I just have a couple of questions:

1.What is the standard width of the original 10 bolt diff in a 69 Camaro? (I need to narrow the new diff 1 inch each side to fit my rushforth wheels)

2.Has anyone used the wavetrac or know what it is like to use in car that will see half track events (circuit type) and half street driving. I understand it is similar in principle to a detroit locker but less harsh on engagement.

3. I cannot afford a floater set up but would tapered bearing reduce some of the diff oil weeping out of the axle ends during high cornering speeds?

I would use a true trac or something like that but I don't believe that they would be strong enough for 600hp+ at the wheels.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ivan

2.I have installed a few wavetracs never any issues i just put one in the rear I built for my personal car.

3. I hear good thing about the roller tapered bearings but I have never used them.
