I was wondering for those that paid to have your mini tubs install on a first gen camaro, how much did/should it cost? How many hours would a typical mini tub kit installed be? My guy builds some amazing race cars and does a few street rods on the side so I know he can it. He has won a few Wallys for Best Engineered Super Stockers in the past.

I just don't know what to expect for installation.

Thanks, Erik Beckett

Are you having other panels done too? If I had it to do over again I would have done mine when I did the quarters.

i think the general concensus is 35-40 hours if nothing else needs replacing

Yep thats what I have charged to do it with nothing else. I have done the complete kit a few times but I always break it down by task (mini tubs, upper shock cross member, brakets on rear end housing). It shows how much each sub section took and what the customer paid for eash task. In dollars I charge $40.00 per hour X 40 hours = $1600.00. Some will charge less some will charge more. Just my .02
