Guys,

I am looking for some insight here. I have a pickup that has 2" drop spindles and cut coils with a '76 Camaro clip.. I am wanting to convert to Air Tech Shockwaves for the front. I am looking for some adjustability for the front. Right now, it's too low for most of the driving I do. I am scraping header on the drivers side. The thing is that it looks so good on the ground......hence I need air ride.

My question is.....What do I need to make this conversion? I am not wanting to do the rear as I have TCI leafs in the back and right now do not want to 4 link it. Unless there is a way to add bags to leafs.

Donnie... pretty sure I just talked to your mechanic about an hour ago. (Unless there is another guy out there w/ a 50 pu & 76 Camaro clip looking to put air under the front :) )

The Shockwaves are the way to go up front. I was talking to your buddy about using our Black Series Shockwaves, they utilize a fixed valving steel body shock inside a firestone air spring. We will just need to take some measurments since the length shocks that we normally put under a 76 Camaro, will likely not be correct for your truck. We just want to ensure that shock is about about mid stroke when the truck at the height you want to drive down the road to give you the best possible ride quality.

Here are the Shockwaves that we talked about. http://www.ridetech.com/store/streetrod/chassis-applications/chassis-specific-shockwave-pair.html

Here is the compressor system that we talked about.... http://www.ridetech.com/store/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=6461

Thanks for the reply Darren. It must be someone else doing the same thing. I build all of my own stuff. I will give you a call so that we can have the same conversation. Thx. Donnie
