Anyone know how to lower rear end of 66 Chevelle without coilovers or air ride? I have Hotchkis lowering springs in the rear and would like to drop it another inch or so.

As I recall, the 64-67 a-bodies used a single pigtail spring in the rear. Just cut the spring a little at a time on the non-pigtail end until you get the ride height that you want. Keep in mind that the lower you go, the worse your driveline angles will be. You will encounter a vibration that can't be easily corrected.

I checked mine today and I thought that it had a bee hive on both ends and I was wrong. It is flat on the top. Do you know how low you can go before the vibration starts? It has Hotchkis lowering springs in the rear but it's not very low. It's also a twin turbo smallblock.
