I have painted some in top notch heated booths but now Im just going to paint in my garage. what are you guys using for filtration. I dont want to spend an arm and a leg but if I need to I will. I was hoping to get away with a combo of inline filter with a Devibliss QC3. Its only $169. But the other model go up to $500. I know there aere more stages but is that needed for a once in a blue moon job. And theres another Devibliss thats $249 bucks but looks the same as the $169. I cant tell the difference. What are you guys using

i have a Sharpe 3 stage dryer system. it works great. I think it was about $350 ish 6-8 years ago... how much are you going to paint at home?? just 1 car and some mis parts, i would go with the cheaper one, but if you are going to paint alot and can afford too, i would spent the extra $.
but that just my $.02....

I run 4 Sharpe 606 with no issues for 15 years

i run two sharpes then a motorguard. never had any issues and probably have shot 15 gallons worth of product.

I would scan your local craigslist for a refrigerated drying unit. You would be shocked how cheap you can get a used one. I bought one a few months ago for my garage for $300. It was a $2500 unit new. Nothing compares to a refrigerated unit. Just the money you will save in a few years from your air tools lasting longer will pay for it.
