Goodguys 5th Bridgestone Nashville Nationals

Well the Nashville event is shaping up to be another great one. Goodguys is mixing things up and the swap meet will be moving to make room for a larger AutoCross track. This will give Goodguys the room needed to stage cars in the pits and make for a longer more difficult track.

Need to know who is coming and who will be running in the AutoCross.

I am sure Brian Finch will be bringing some cool rides to run in the AutoCross and Bret with RideTech will be debuting the 48hour Camaro at this event. Look for Bret to really work this car over in the AutoCross.

Bobby Alloway will be picking the “Goodguys Builders Choice” winners and we will have plenty of Vendors for you to talk with.

Look forward to seeing you all at the event and remember if you are going without a car there is a $3.00 off coupon for members.

I will make sure we get as many fast street rods to be at Des Moines as we can...think your getting the win?

To bad your not able to go to Nashville as the track will be much bigger as we are moving it to another lot.

See you at IA.

Gather em all up and tell 'em to pack a lunch cause it'll be an all day azzwhoopin! I'm going after Jacobs anyway........(insert evil laugh here)

I'm not real happy about missing Nashville but it is what it is. That show is really my favorite.

DesMoines has a great lot. Maybe you can use what you learn with your Nashville course to tweak the DesMoines set up??? Don't tell Trent I said that or he'll give me a ration of shhhttt.
The Iowa event has consistantly been one of our favorite shows of the year. You guys do an great job and the venue is awesome. Can't wait.

Donny

It would be really cool to see a rod take fast time of the event, as long as I can still manage to win the street machine class. The competition keeps stepping up every year though. Getting harder and harder to make it happen with the big car.
See you next week at the open house. Hope spring can finally make it to northern Illinois soon. This weather sucks!

Hi Ed,
I'll be following Bret down with my Blue 70 Z clone (up at Ride Tech getting a little extra love).... Greg Tholen did a great job of adding some new Baer brakes, new 5 speed RS600 transmission from Shafi Keisler and a 4 link from Ride Tech to the car so we'll be real curious to try the improvements out and lay a thrashing on it....

I'll likely also bring down old faithful,,, my White TA that was at Dallas with a new motor and new look if it's ready in time ....

I'm kinda bummed, can't make it. So, there will be a new name on the winners list for the truck class this year. That'll make Ed happy. ;) If Greg has to put his C-10 in the vendor class for RideTech, then my money is on the green Finch built C-10 I saw it Texas. - nice lookin' p/u, and a good runner. .... if only I could put my effie on a train and have it show up at airport waiting for me.......

The guys had an awesome time out on the track. Jim was grinning ear to ear - or so I'm told. They left me behind.
Thank you to Robert McGaffin for the photos!
