Man, Rob is sure getting that truck dialed in. Looks like street rod class is still behind the curve a little......and only four cars competing in that class?!? sheesh.

My 25 year old son Kevin came in second behind Brian Finch.I am proud of him.He built his camaro all by hemself in his 2 car garage. Both the frt. and rear suspension is hand made by him as is the whole car.Plus he drive's pretty good also.

I have to say that I was really impressed with the camaro (Kevin), and the driving. Great guys to talk to, and they were having a lot of fun. Texas likes the truck, and it fits the track layout well, I'm glad I went, we had a great time. As I am just home from Del-Mar, I'll let you know that we won the Truck class with a 34.144. Mike Meyer won the vendor class (65 Mustang, Kyle Newman won the street machine class (55 chevy), and Scott G., driving the Ardeem 33 ford (I hope I got that right) won the street rod class. Del Mar is a great event, and a great town/place to have a show. I recomend hitting the fall show if you can.

I was there with my 34 coupe, but was disqualified for some reason. Ran the fastest street rod time with Kyle Tucker behind the wheel....
