So is this a stock CTS-V pan or not? Its not porous like the stocker and it has baffles and trap doors unlike the stocker so is it a cts-v or something else? Who is the manufacturer?
thanks

I'm curious too. Curious why so much more $ over a regular CTS-V pan. Please post some pics.

Its a sheetmetal version with the same dimensions as the stock CTS-V pan. Its a road racing pan.

How much was it originally and why didn't you use it?

Here is the pan, it is a $425 kit that includes pick up oil filter adapter, etc. This pan is a true Road Race pan that will protect the pick up in the most extreme conditions. There is a video of Badd Penny on the road coarse with a camera on the oil pressure gauge the entire lap and the oil pressure never wiggles.

Humbler, PM sent. Just to confirm it comes with the oil filter adapter and everything else?
Frank/Humbler- Is the pan a Champs or Autokraft one? Thanks for any info!

It comes with everything needed to install but a gasket I think.

It is not made by either of those manufacturers.

The pan in the photo says champ pans right on the side of it.

I could be way off, but I think Champ makes the pans that Autokraft sells.

Jeff, I think you are right in all of the info I have found on them. I think one of the differences might be that through Champs, you can buy just the pan. Autokraft will sell you a complete setup. I wonder if Autokraft puts a "coating (not sure what it is called)" on the pan. The Autokraft pans look like they have a yellow tint to them where the Champs ones look raw. Either way, Frank and the guys will doing the install for me anyways, so I am not really concerned either way.

Jamie, please send the tracking info when you get it. Thanks!

Yes, they are the same, Champ, Autocraft, Prodigy, all the same pan, same color, we sell them individually or as a complete kit.

Frank, What is included in the complete kit beside the pan & the pickup tube? Any idea if this will work in a Monte on an L92?

Just to update the thread. I was unable to see the pan until a couple of weeks ago (currently living overseas). I had it sent to my builder (Prodigy). The pan I received was not as described in the first post (which has been deleted by the seller, hmmmm). I bought the pan as "new". Unfortunately, it had been "modified" (patched/welded) at one time on the front passenger side of the pan. Long story short, I talked to Humbler and it turned into a "He said, she said" about the condition of the pan. He denied anything was wrong with the pan. To the others that "missed" buying this pan, be glad you didn't. I would be weary about buying items from him in the future.

Just to clarify, my complaint is with seller, The Humbler and noone else in this matter.

Given the tone and disagreement in this thread, it's been moved here to the Feedback section, and it is now a moderated thread. I've also deleted the minor off-subject issue.

See the rules at the top of the sub-section if anyone wishes to post further.

Brand new in the box pan with pickup.

Unfortunately, it had been "modified" (patched/welded) at one time on the front passenger side of the pan.

I've personally seen this pan. It has been welded as Chris noted.
